The group is recognized for outstanding leadership and engagement with national experts and communities to develop and publish the first ASTM E3350-22 Standard Guide for Community Resilience Planning for Buildings and Infrastructure and to significantly enhance the ASTM E3130-21 Standard Guide for Developing Cost-Effective Community Resilience Strategies, referenced in E3350-22. Each provide communities with science-based planning tools to 1) increase the hazard resilience of the built environment and socioeconomic functions and 2) assess economic performance for proposed resilience projects.
